Si hay un grupo de devotos que probablemente sobresalen, que viven la misión de Sai cada segundo y que son un pilar en la misión en curso de Swami, son los devotos de Singapur, cariñosamente llamados por Swami la “Banda de Singapur”. Todos son individuos autónomos, desarrollados como empresarios, médicos, abogados pero frente a su Señor, ¡Se convierten en niños pequeños! En este corto video sólo se ven unos pocos de ellos. Son alrededor de 12 familias juntas.
BHAGABAN HABLA SOBRE “LA BANDA DE SINGAPUR”:
Para que nuestros niños entiendan, tengo que contarles algunas cosas:
Cuando queríamos comenzar el campus de Gulbarga, no había nadie disponible para llevar esto adelante. Swami le dijo a Narasimha Murthy que buscara para este proyecto a los devotos de Singapur. Los devotos no tardaron ni un momento en dar un paso adelante y apoyar este campus. Cuando el padre se jubila, los niños tienen que aprovecharlo. Me retiré y se hicieron cargo. Del mismo modo, cuando surgió el Campus de Bijapur, los singapurenses también apoyaron el campus de Bijapur.
Hay una gran lista de obras y seguimos celebrando por todo el buen trabajo que han estado haciendo. Durante los festejos de cumpleaños de 2014, no había sala. Todas las celebraciones se llevaron a cabo en el estadio y los niños sufrieron el frío. Sólo mencioné que sería bueno tener un salón y en breve, el Grupo ayudó a construir esta hermosa Sala de Premamrutham. También han ayudado a los hospitales de Delhi y Raipur.
El próximo mes de junio, estamos estableciendo la Universidad Sri Sathya Sai para la Excelencia Humana en Gulbarga. Para establecer una nueva universidad, necesitamos mucho terreno , construir edificios y también tenemos que depositar una gran cantidad al Gobierno. Acabo de decir que, si comenzamos esta universidad, podremos crear y entrenar a un buen grupo de docentes que serán capaces de establecer educación correcta en todas partes. Los devotos de Singapur se presentaron y dijeron “nosotros lo haremos”. Una palabra de Swami y están listos para servir.
Puedes pensar que son multimillonarios. No, no lo son. Son profesionales, doctores e ingenieros. También tienen una familia. Sirven a su familia como es esperable, pensando que es su deber de amor. Pero cuando sirven a los niños en Gulbarga y Bijapur, sirven con una actitud de amor sin deber que es divino.
Ayer, vinieron y preguntaron “¿Qué es lo que podemos hacer por ti, Swami?” Cada vez que vienen, hacen la misma pregunta. No preguntan nada para ellos mismos.
Los hijos de estas familias de Singapur también se están preparando en el mismo camino.
El hijo del que se disfrazó de Papá Noel durante la Navidad, ofreció una cantidad sustancial de su salario al Fondo de Becas de Madiyal Narayan Bhat. Él dijo, espero que esta cantidad ayude a los niños pobres a obtener educación. Otra hija vino y ofreció su primer salario a la misión educativa. Los niños son como sus padres. Los jóvenes tienen muchos deseos a esa edad, pero estos jóvenes no son así.
Cuando ofrecen con una mente tan pura, no puedo dejar de aceptarlo. Ésto ha venido desde la Pureza y Unidad. Han demostrado Amor en Acción a través del servicio. ¿De dónde obtienen este amor? Solamente lo obtienen al darse cuenta de que todos somos UNO”.

If there is one group of devotees who probably singularly standout, who are breathing the mission of Sai every single second and who are the pillar of Swami's ongoing mission, they are the devotees from Singapore, lovingly called by Swami as the 'Singapore Gang'. They are all accomplished individuals, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs. But in front of their Lord, they turn little children! There are only few of them seen in this short clip. They are about 12 families together. BHAGAWAN SPEAKS ABOUT THE 'SINGAPORE GANG' "In order to make our children understand, I have to to tell you something: When we wanted to start the Gulbarga campus, there was no one who came forward. Swami told Narasimha Murthy to seek of this project to the devotees in Singapore. The devotees didn't take a single moment to come forward and support this campus.When the father retires, the children have to take it up. I have retired and they have taken over. Similarly, when the Bijapur Campus came up, the Singaporeans supported the Bijapur campus also. There is a big list and you have to keep clapping for all the good work they have been doing. During the 2014 birthday celebrations, there was no hall. All the celebrations were held in the stadium and the children suffered in the cold. I only mentioned that it would be nice if we have a hall and in a trice, the Group helped in constructing this beautiful Premamrutham Hall. They have helped in the Delhi and Raipur hospitals too.Next June, we are establishing Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence in Gulbarga. For establishing a new university, we need lot of land and buildings and also we need to deposit a big amount with the Government. I just said, if we start this university, we can create and train a good lot of teachers who can set right educational scenario all over. Singapore devotees came forward and said we will do it. One word from Swami and they are ready to serve. You may think they are billionaires. They aren't. They are professionals, doctors and engineers. They also have a family. They serve their family thinking it is love with duty which is desirable. But when they serve the children in Gulbarga and Bijapur, they serve them with love. They serve with an attitude of love without duty which is divine. Yesterday, they came and asked "What is it that we can do for you, Swami?" Every time they come, they ask the same question. They don't ask anything for themselves. The children of these families from Singapore are also getting ready on the same path. Santa Claus's son (the one who dressed up as Santa Claus during Christmas) offered a substantial amount for the Late Madiyal Narayan Bhat Scholarship Fund from his salary. He said, hope this amount helps poor children get education. Another daughter came and offered her first salary to the education mission. The children are just like their parents. Young people have many desires at that age, but these children are not like that. When they offer with such pure mind, I cannot but accept it. This has come from Purity and Unity. They have demonstrated Love in Action through service. Where do you get this love from?
